Mr Wakaki graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1992, and started working for Mitsubishi Corporation’s livestock division, engaging in global investment and trade businesses of feed and livestock. From 2011 to 2015, he resided in Beijing as the Deputy General Manager of COFCO Meat Industry Investment Co., Ltd. From 2021 to 2023, he was the Executive Managing Director of Ito Ham Meat Holdings Co., Ltd., the second largest meat business company in Japan. Formerly, he was a partner at New Horizon Capital/Redview Capital, and a Vice President of Keytone Ventures. Dr Yue Qiao graduated from the Rochester Institute of Techonology and earned his PhD from Colorado State University. Liu Pengyu, a graduate with a Ph.D. from Beijing Jiaotong University, has held positions such as the Director of Smart City Research Dept at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's CCID Research Institute, the Deputy Director of the Economic and Information Bureau of Xinchang County in Zhejiang Province (on assignment), and a Smart City consulting and planning expert for Huawei's China region government and enterprise sector. He currently serves as Head of Huawei's Shanghai digital government solutions department. Liu has been involved in the research & formulation of national-level policies such as "Made in China 2025" and the "13th Five-Year Plan", leading digital transformation, e-government, smart cities, and digital economy policy development and solution implementation across nearly 40 provinces and cities, including Guangdong, Beijing, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. His academic contributions include nearly 30 published articles and 4 SCI papers. In addition, Liu is recognized as a Young Expert by the Internet Society of China.

David is leading the food and feed from CO2™ bio company, NovoNutrients, that's cleanly transforming carbon dioxide emissions into alternative protein ingredients. In 2017, he engaged with NovoNutrients: investing in it, pivoting it, and taking his current role as its CEO. David had been the sole manager of Aquacopia. That seed-stage fund and its five-company portfolio had a thematic focus on aquaculture. The companies ranged from an aquafeed ingredient manufacturer to a distributor and marketer of sustainable seafood. The fund also led investments into Open Blue, InnovaSea, and Futuna. Including a prior start-up that David co-founded, those six companies raised $250M under his watch. That prior start-up, an online industrial marketplace called NetworkOil and then Network International, was acquired by Liquidity Services (NASDAQ: LQDT). After earning an economics A.B. from Princeton, David’s career had started with internet pioneering that was a mix of general management, entrepreneurial corporate development, and consultative sales of strategic technology and media services.

Dr. Zheng Liangzhen holds a B.S. in Biology from Wuhan University and a Ph.D. in computational biology from Nanyang Technological University. He used to be an assistant researcher of BGI, assistant researcher of Shenzhen Advanced Institute CAS, senior researcher of Tencent AI Lab, Shenzhen U30 innovation and entrepreneurship talent, and now CTO of Shanghai Zelixir Biotech. Dr. Zheng works on the development of protein folding algorithms and the prediction of protein-small molecule binding patterns for over 10 years using computational and AI methods, and has won many first and second prizes in a number of top international computational biology competitions (such as CAMEO and CASP) and domestic synthetic biology competitions. He has also published many research papers in SCI journals such as Nature Communication, Briefings in Bioinformatics and Nature Machine Intelligence.

Owen is a senior technical and industrial expert in the energy storage industry, senior manager of new energy power generation and energy storage enterprises, and entrepreneur of technological innovation enterprises. He has 20 years of experience in energy storage technology R&D, industrialization, and energy storage technology application promotion. He has over 40 invention and utility model patents, and won 2nd prize at the National Technological Invention Award, the Patent Gold Award and multiple provincial/ministerial level science & tech awards. Owen participated in the establishment of the Zhongguancun Technology & Industry Alliance and served as the vice chairman.
